전북교육청이 11월 11일까지 도내 중학교 35개교에서 중학생 6,000여 명을 대상으로 ‘찾아가는 직업계고 진로상담’을 운영한다.
이번 프로그램은 직업계고 진학 희망자와 진로 고민 학생을 위한 1:1 맞춤형 상담으로, 직업계고 전문교과 교사들이 참여해 희망 계열·적성에 맞는 학과 소개, 입학 요강과 전형 안내를 제공한다. 마이스터고·협약형특성화고·전북글로컬특성화고 등 지역 산업수요 맞춤 학과와 교육과정도 집중 소개한다.
특히 진학 후 진로·성장 경로·취업 연계를 단계별로 제시하는 ‘취업 로드맵’을 통해 학생 개개인의 목표와 역량에 맞춘 준비를 돕는다. 교육청은 이를 통해 학생들이 진로 목표와 연계된 학교·학과 선택을 지원할 계획이다.
문형심 창의인재교육과장은 “이번 상담은 단순 탐색을 넘어, 중학생들이 직업계고 진학과 교육과정을 명확히 이해하고 준비하도록 돕는 실질적 기회”라며 “진학 설계에 도움이 되는 프로그램을 지속 확대하겠다”고 말했다.
