전북현대 U18팀 선수와 코치가(선수 4명/코치 1명) 지난 11일 네덜란드로 떠나 2주간 PSV 아인트호벤 팀에 합류해 축구 연수를 실시한다.
지난 2023년 PSV 아인트호벤과 파트너십을 체결한 이후로 매년 인적 교류를 이어온 전북현대는 올해도 유스팀 성장과 발전을 위해 이번 프로그램을 진행했다.
선수들은 PSV 아인트호벤의 같은 연령대 선수들과 2주간 체력 및 필드 훈련, 팀 훈련 등 동일한 훈련 프로그램을 소화할 예정이다.
선수뿐만 아니라 동행하는 코치들도 연수에 참여해 PSV 아인트호벤 유스팀 지도자들과 훈련, 경기 운영 전술 등의 노하우를 교류하고 유스팀 운영의 역량을 발전시키는 기회가 될 것으로 보인다.
U18팀 연수가 완료되면 오는 11월에는 U15팀도 연이어 연수를 실시한다.
U15팀도 선발된 선수와 코치가(선수 4명/코치 1명) 오는 11월 1일~17일까지 PSV 아인트호벤 U15 선수들과 동일한 스케줄로 2주간 생활하며 색다른 환경에서 여러 경험을 두루 할 계획이다.
특히 지난해에는 U15 선수들이 PSV 아인트호벤의 1~2살 높은 연령대 팀으로 월반 훈련을 진행하는 등 다양하고 특별한 경험의 기회를 가져 올해도 선수들에게 발전의 시간이 될 것으로 보인다.
전북현대 이도현 단장은 “PSV 아인트호벤과 인적교류를 통해 유스팀 선수들에게 배움의 기회를 제공할 수 있어 기쁘다”며 “유스 선수들이 가장 많은 것을 보고, 느끼며 배울 수 있는 시기인 만큼 구단에서도 선수들의 지속적인 성장을 돕겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 전북현대는 지난 5월 PSV의 세트피스, 컨디셔닝, GK 코치진을 전주로 초청해 유스팀과 N팀을 대상으로 스페셜 코칭을 진행했다.

The players will participate in the same training program as the same age group players from PSV Eindhoven, including two weeks of physical and field training, team training, and more.
Not only the players but also the accompanying coaches will participate in the training, exchanging knowledge with the PSV Eindhoven youth team coaches on training, game tactics, and improving the capabilities of the youth team operation.
After the completion of the U18 team training, the U15 team will also conduct training consecutively in November.
In November, four selected players and one coach from the U15 team will live with the PSV Eindhoven U15 players following the same schedule for two weeks, planning to have various experiences in a different environment.
Especially last year, the U15 players had the opportunity to train with the PSV Eindhoven team one to two years older, bringing various and unique experiences, which is expected to be a time for the players' development this year as well.
