<부안군 줄포지구 ‘쉼과 자연이 스며든, 회복의 정원도시 웰케이션 in 줄포레스트’>

전북특별자치도는 국토교통부에서 주관한 ‘2025년 하반기 도시재생 공모’에서 지역특화형 1곳, 인정사업 2곳, 노후주거지 정비지원 2곳 등 5개소가 선정되어 국비 441억 원을 확보했다고 18일 밝혔다.

지역특화사업으로 부안군 줄포지구는 ‘쉼과 자연이 스며든, 회복의 정원도시 웰케이션 in 줄포레스트’를 주제로 총사업비 250억 원(국비 150억 원)을 투입해 노을정원을 테마로 한 지역 특화사업, 기반시설 정비, 거점시설 등을 조성할 계획이다.

인정사업에는 김제시 금산면과 무주군 안성면이 포함됐다. 김제시 금산면은 주민의 건강과 정서 복지를 통합적으로 지원하는 기초 인프라를 구축하기 위하여 총사업비 83억 원(국비 50억 원)을 투입해 지상 2층 규모의 금산 다(多)누리센터를 건립한다.

무주군 안성면은 ‘천마로 여는 백세건강센터 조성’을 주제로 총사업비 83억 원(국비 50억 원)을 투입해 3층 규모의 백세건강센터를 조성할 예정이며, 로컬푸드 판매공간과 창업·문화공간 등이 조성될 예정이다.

노후주거지 정비지원 사업에는 진안군 군하지구와 임실군 이도지구가 선정됐다. 진안군 군하지구는 ‘참 살기좋은 진안이로 군하’라는 비전으로 총사업비 135억 원(국비 81억 원)을 투입하여 노후 주거밀집지역을 대상으로 주택 정비와 도로·주차장 개선을 추진해 정주 여건을 높인다.

임실군 이도지구는 ‘노후 저층주거지의 정주환경개선’을 주제로 총사업비 183억 원(국비 110억 원)을 투입해 노후주거지 집수리 지원, 도로환경개선 및 소공원 조성 등을 추진한다. 특히 주차장과 연계한 실내체육시설과 주민 공동체 활성화를 위한 어울림센터도 건립될 예정이다.

전북도는 이번 사업을 계기로 인구 감소와 도시 쇠퇴로 어려움을 겪고 있는 구도심에 도시재생 사업을 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 방침이다.

"Julpoforest in Buan County, a 'Healing and Nature-Infused, Recovery Garden City Wellcation in Julpoforest'"

North Jeolla Province announced on the 18th that it has secured 441 billion won in national funds after being selected in the '2025 Second Half Urban Regeneration Contest' organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Among the selected projects are one regional specialized project, two recognized projects, and two support projects for revitalizing aging residential areas.

As a regional specialized project, Julpoforest in Buan County will invest a total project cost of 250 billion won (150 billion won from national funds) in the theme of 'Healing and Nature-Infused, Recovery Garden City Wellcation in Julpoforest.' The project aims to create a regional specialized project focusing on the Sunset Garden, infrastructure maintenance, hub facilities, and more.

The recognized projects include Kimje City's Geumsan-myeon and Muju County's Anseong-myeon. Geumsan-myeon in Kimje City will construct a two-story Geumsan Danoori Center with a total project cost of 83 billion won (50 billion won from national funds) to provide integrated support for residents' health and emotional well-being.

Anseong-myeon in Muju County will establish a three-story Centenarian Health Center under the theme of 'Opening a Centenarian Health Center through Cheonma.' With a total project cost of 83 billion won (50 billion won from national funds), the center will include spaces for selling local foods, entrepreneurship, cultural activities, and more.

For the support projects for revitalizing aging residential areas, Jinan County's Gunha District and Imdol District in Imsil County were selected. Gunha District in Jinan County will invest 135 billion won (81 billion won from national funds) in projects aimed at improving living conditions by renovating houses and improving roads and parking lots in densely populated aging residential areas.

Imdol District in Imsil County will invest 183 billion won (110 billion won from national funds) in projects focused on improving the living environment of low-rise aging residential areas. This includes support for home repairs in aging residential areas, improving road environments, creating small parks, and constructing an indoor sports facility linked to parking lots, as well as an interaction center for promoting community activities among residents.

North Jeolla Province plans to continue expanding urban regeneration projects in downtown areas facing population decline and urban decay following this project.
