전북특별자치도가 간부공무원을 대상으로 한 생성형 인공지능(AI) 교육을 마무리하고 AI 기반 행정 혁신에 속도를 낸다.
전북자치도는 24일 도와 도의회, 소방본부 등 4급 이상 국·과장급 간부공무원을 대상으로 추진한 ‘생성형 AI 역량강화 교육’을 성공적으로 마쳤다고 밝혔다. 이번 교육은 정부의 AI 대전환 정책 기조에 맞춰 디지털 시대 정책결정 구조를 혁신하기 위해 마련됐다.
교육은 총 4기, 2일 과정으로 운영됐으며 국·과장급 간부공무원 159명이 참여했다. 정책 기획과 의사결정 과정에서 생성형 AI를 실제 활용할 수 있도록 실무 중심·참여형 프로그램으로 구성됐고, 실습용 활용책자와 반복 학습이 가능한 교육 동영상도 제공했다.
과정에서는 정부 AI 정책 방향과 글로벌 기술 환경, AI 윤리와 책임 있는 활용, 생성형 AI 기반 정책보고서 작성, 공공데이터 분석·시각화, 지역 현안 해결을 위한 AI 활용 전략 등 현장에서 바로 적용 가능한 내용이 집중적으로 다뤄졌다.
참여자들은 “AI 활용이 정책 패러다임을 바꿀 수 있다는 점을 체감했다”며 “현안 분석과 보고서 작성에서 AI의 속도와 정밀도가 행정혁신의 동력이 될 것”이라고 평가했다.
노홍석 행정부지사는 “AI는 선택이 아닌 행정의 필수 역량”이라며 “국·과장급 교육을 시작으로 전 직원을 대상으로 생성형 AI 교육을 단계적으로 확대해 정책 기획부터 집행·평가까지 일하는 방식을 혁신하겠다”고 말했다. 전북자치도는 2026년 팀장급과 실무담당자, 공기업·출연기관까지 대상을 확대해 직급·직무별 실습 중심 교육체계를 추진할 계획이다.

The province announced that it has successfully completed the "Generative AI Capability Enhancement Education" program targeting Grade 4 or higher senior government officials from the province, the provincial council, and the fire department on the 24th. The education program was conducted in four sessions over two days, with 159 senior government officials participating. North Jeolla Province plans to expand the practical training-centered education system by rank and duty, targeting team leaders and field personnel, as well as public enterprises and affiliated institutions by 2026.
