A stage where you can appreciate the true essence of traditional Korean pansori, the '34th Pansori Five Masters' Charm,' will be held from July 1st to 5th at the Wujin Cultural Space Arts Theater in Jeonju. Hosted by the Wujin Cultural Foundation, this performance is the only authentic annual stage in the country where renowned singers representing the five foundations of traditional pansori each perform one foundation a day.
Since its debut in 1991, the 'Pansori Five Masters' Charm,' now celebrating its 34th year, has captivated audiences with the traditional performances adorned by renowned singers from around the country, centered in the birthplace of pansori, Jeonju.
Kim Bora, the director of the Wujin Cultural Foundation, stated, "This performance is not just about reproducing old sounds but about carrying on the tradition of pansori to today and expanding it into the future, a stage of inheritance where one can confirm Jeonju's artistic roots and pride."

Jang Moon-hee, a holder of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, deeply interprets the Dongchoje following the Kim Yeonsu lineage.
